Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Little late but we haven't had much time with Isaac being home and having his fussy streaks lately. Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jesse and Uncle Chad all came to see Isaac this year. We made a nice dinner and everyone had their fill. Shelby even got a new bone to chew on. It was a wonderful holiday as always with the exception of Alicia's mom Carolyn not being here. She will always be with us and watches over our miracle Isaac but it is still hard not to have her here with us. Always give thanks for who we have this holiday for we never know when God will have his angels come home to him. Have a great holiday season and remember there is always something to be happy and grateful for!

Isaac came home on November 7th. As of Nov 11th at his doctor appointment he weighed 5lbs 10oz. He is gaining about 2 oz a day, which is very good. This week he would be 36 weeks along and he is just over 2 months old. It is so nice to have him home. Most of the animals are curious, but run away when he cries.

He likes his Boppy. When he is awake he really likes to watch what mom is doing.

He definately wears us out.

He is only awake for about an hour a day besides feeding time. He also has a lot of facial expressions.

Isaac is drinking from the bottle, 42 ml. His feeding tube was taken out today. We are so excited to take him home this week!

Just some more pictures of Isaac. He is 4 lbs 10 oz today. Looks as though he is on track to be home on Nov 6th or 7th.

Happy Halloween! Isaac dressed up as a pumpkin this year. He likes his big hat.

Look what I can do

I found my nose hole today, finger keeps getting stuck in it though.
Talk to the hand! :)

Kyersten & Dylan

Our niece Kyersten on the right turned four on Sept 23, our nephew Dylan was born Sept 9th. All the cousins have September birthdays so far with Isaac's being the 14th. I bet Grandma and Grandpa are happy about that!

He made it to the big boy bed!

Isaac was moved from the isolette and into a bed. Which means he is doing well
holding his temperature.

Isaac made it to 3lbs 9.5 oz today and he needs new hats
(his are getting a little tight :) )

His feet are getting longer, but they are still tiny.

Full body shot.
Just like the real thing, only smaller!

Isaac taking a bath

Isaac likes bath time, still doesn't know what to make of the water just yet though. :)

Isaac is a month old!

Isaac was doing well so he was transfered to the NICU at St. Cloud Hospital so it would be easier for us to see him everyday. After the transfer the little guy got a little stressed so he had to get some help from the c-pap again for a few days. As of the 15th, he has made it to 3 lbs 5 oz. At prevoius 2 head ultrasounds they had seen some bleeding in his brain. The 3rd this week showed that the bleeding has stopped, which of course is very good. Just a few spells of apnea (preemies sometimes forget to breath when they get to comfy) and a feeding tube are the last obstacles before he is completely healthy. He is doing very well and is on track to be home at the end of November.
