Look what I can do

I found my nose hole today, finger keeps getting stuck in it though.
Talk to the hand! :)

Kyersten & Dylan

Our niece Kyersten on the right turned four on Sept 23, our nephew Dylan was born Sept 9th. All the cousins have September birthdays so far with Isaac's being the 14th. I bet Grandma and Grandpa are happy about that!

He made it to the big boy bed!

Isaac was moved from the isolette and into a bed. Which means he is doing well
holding his temperature.

Isaac made it to 3lbs 9.5 oz today and he needs new hats
(his are getting a little tight :) )

His feet are getting longer, but they are still tiny.

Full body shot.
Just like the real thing, only smaller!

Isaac taking a bath

Isaac likes bath time, still doesn't know what to make of the water just yet though. :)

Isaac is a month old!

Isaac was doing well so he was transfered to the NICU at St. Cloud Hospital so it would be easier for us to see him everyday. After the transfer the little guy got a little stressed so he had to get some help from the c-pap again for a few days. As of the 15th, he has made it to 3 lbs 5 oz. At prevoius 2 head ultrasounds they had seen some bleeding in his brain. The 3rd this week showed that the bleeding has stopped, which of course is very good. Just a few spells of apnea (preemies sometimes forget to breath when they get to comfy) and a feeding tube are the last obstacles before he is completely healthy. He is doing very well and is on track to be home at the end of November.

Isaac at Children's in Mpls

These are pictures from Isaac's first week in the Children's NICU in Mpls. He was born on Sept. 14th, 4:14 am on a Sunday morning. He was born just shy of 27 weeks. With Alicia's water breaking at 21 weeks, it was a miracle she did not go into labor before this. He weighed 2 lbs 10 oz and dropped to 2 lbs 5 ounces less than a day later. After 3 hours of being on the ventilater, he was breathing on his own. A c-pap helped keep pressure on his lungs at times. He is doing very well for being so young. He was a little larger than the doctors thought he would be.
